My Story

Hi, I’m Summer Scozzari — a Jacksonville, North Carolina native, mom, entrepreneur, and community advocate. Everything I build starts with one simple belief: local matters, people matter, and purpose matters.

I’ve never been someone who wanted to run just one business. I wanted to build places and services that serve, uplift, and give back — especially to the community that raised me.

Rooted in Jacksonville, NC

I was born and raised right here in Jacksonville. This town shaped who I am — its people, its military families, its small businesses, and its sense of grit and heart. When I decided to become an entrepreneur, I knew one thing for sure: every venture I created would stay local and give back locally.

Anew Hearing Care LLC

Hearing healthcare is personal for me. I took over Anew Hearing Care with the goal of expanding access, compassion, and modern care for patients who often feel overlooked — especially veterans, seniors, and those who are deaf or hard of hearing.

We provide comprehensive hearing services in a welcoming, judgment‑free environment, with a strong focus on education, accessibility, and patient dignity. As someone who deeply values inclusivity, I’ve worked hard to ensure our clinic is a place where people feel heard — literally and emotionally.

Giving back is part of our mission. We proudly provide free or discounted services to veterans and members of the deaf and hard‑of‑hearing community whenever possible.

910 Coffee Co

910 Coffee Co was created to be more than a coffee shop — it’s a community hub.

What started as a dream quickly became a place where families gather, friendships form, kids feel welcome, and conversations happen. We intentionally created a cozy atmosphere with a kids’ play area because life is busy — and parents deserve good coffee without stress.

The Tiny Hiny Rescue & Tiny Hiny Barn

My love for animals — especially abandoned and neglected ones — led to the creation of The Tiny Hiny Rescue, a livestock rescue dedicated to giving animals a second chance at life.

The rescue sits on family land that holds generations of memories, and from that grew another vision: Tiny Hiny Barn.

Tiny Hiny Barn is a small, affordable event and wedding venue designed for:

• Intimate weddings

• Family gatherings

• Community events

• Celebrations with heart

A portion of all proceeds goes directly back into the rescue, helping fund food, veterinary care, and proper shelter for animals who need it most.

Why I Do What I Do

I’m a mom first. I want my kids to see what it looks like to work hard, give back, and lead with heart.

I believe small businesses are the backbone of America. I believe accessibility should never be optional. I believe animals deserve kindness. And I believe communities thrive when we support one another.
